Monfrà Jazz Fest Kicks Off the Open907 Season

For the second year in a row, AREA907 is hosting a stop on the Monfrà Jazz Fest tour.
On Saturday, June 27, at 9 p.m. Portuguese artist Lucia de Carvalho will perform: her multifaceted project ‘PWANGA’ will get everyone dancing on a unique journey through Africa, South America, jazz, and Lusophone music.
In the late afternoon, starting at 6:30 PM, four guided tours will begin: as last year, these will be special music-themed tours led by artists Cesare Mecca, Dario Terzuoli, and Matteo Castellan.
Reservations are required to secure your spot.
A refreshment area will be set up inside the venue so everyone can enjoy both events of the day.
This colorful jazz concert will mark the kickoff of AREA907’s summer season.
